Tactics Ogre : Let Us Cling Together Tset for PSP

It sometimes ignores the West but before Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre there has been: Let Us Cling Together. Ancestor of all modern tactical RPG, this title exception arrives here today as a superb remake PSP.

Developed by Quest under the direction of Yasumi Matsuno (Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy XII ...), Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together is released in Japan on the Super Famicom in October 1995. Praised by critics and adored by the players, RPG Tactical exception was quickly adapted to Saturn in 1996 and PlayStation in 1997. His gameplay turn-extremely rich, its complex scenario with multiple branches and its achievement of quality remain even today the kind of references. So much so that the app was elected as the seventh best game of all time by readers of the famous Japanese magazine Famistu in 2006 and that its Playstation version is trading around $ 100 in hand. The company Square, seeing Matsuno a genius, soon to entice it to ask it to create an episode of its hit series tactic: Final Fantasy. And so the excellent series of FF Tactics, in all respects inspired Tactics Ogre, was born in 1997 on Playstation. With their background very popular and open-door policy Square, FF Tactics quickly became the global benchmark RPG tactics at the expense of their illustrious predecessor never crosses the borders of Japan. So it is with emotion that we welcome today for the first time in France, the remake of Tactics Ogre unexpected original. Some may regret that the developers of this new Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together chose the small Sony PSP to resurrect one of the biggest hits of Yasumi Matsuno. Yet, this handheld console lends itself well to this kind of title. First, it allows us to bring our characters everywhere with us to get a mission between classes or on the subway. Moreover, its wide screen gives a clear overview of the battlefield. And fields of battle, that's not what's missing in Tactics Ogre! Born in a remote area of the continent of Valeria, the player will indeed be drawn into an international conflict that will soon turn into total war. Although it is singularly lacking in cinematic storytelling of a very complex scenario upon which the adventure is particularly well put together. Mature dialogue, twists, difficult choices to make yourself ... Fans of political intrigue and strategy will get their money. Especially since their decisions greatly influence the course of events. Different branching storyline and multiple purposes and are on the menu to explode the potential of replayability app. Caution, however, a strong level of English is required to take advantage of this background concrete. Indeed, like Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, app has not been located (titanic necessarily work against the amount of text to translate). Fortunately, it is not essential to master the language of Shakespeare to enjoy the many battles (mandatory or optional) that we should regularly take part. After choosing the members of our team who will participate, the clashes between us in various warring clans and all sorts of creatures and other undead have only one objective, we do not bite the dust. As usual, the action is turn-on cards in more or less extensive 3D isometric. These are divided into boxes of different kinds and of varying height on which it moves along an order determined by the speed rating of each participant. When comes the turn of one of our characters, a multitude of options available to us. We can attack in melee, ranged attacks, cast spells or use items like potions, scrolls or tarot cards. Depending on their progress in their respective trades, members of our team will also use special abilities to disable, steal, or recruit their opponents. It would be quite impossible to review all the available actions on the battlefield but the veterans of Final Fantasy Tactics quickly gather their brands.
