A Boy and His Blob game test on wii

A Boy and His Blob will say maybe nothing for young players. The oldest, yet the mere mention of the name will blow a gentle breeze of nostalgia in their memories. They will remember the first branch out once in Nes, or perhaps a result of his Game Boy. After 19 years of silence and two abortive attempts resurrections (GBA and DS), it is time to find our boy and his famous Blob.
Do not be fooled. Behind her as a bad Z-series, A Boy and His Blob cache a game largely based on tenderness, complicity and simply the friendship between a boy to a creature from elsewhere. From the title screen, the unique charm of the game works and we catch in a delicious calm and warm atmosphere that will play a major role elsewhere throughout the adventure, a role at least as large as that occupied by the gameplay in fact. Bucolic and full of poetry, the atmosphere of A Boy and His Blob has a lot to the overall achievement that stands out mainly by two-dimensional graphics absolutely enchanting. Art direction taken by the developers approximates a true animated film with characters drawn, painted and animated by hand. Not only the work done was excellent, but it also serves as the game completely by offering him a real personality far more touching and endearing that the design of the first components. Whether the heroes or enemies, the animation is perfectly controlled and exudes a sincerity rare in current productions. We feel the development team and invested greatly inspired by his subject and we can thank them for giving us this pure visual delight. While the game is not necessarily the world's thinnest, but the accuracy of any defects catching animations that spirit too grumpy could detect. His side, the result is also very successful with music sometimes sweet, sometimes more catchy, but still very melodic. It is also affected by the boy's voice when he called his companion or asks him to wait quietly.
The magnificent achievement encapsulates the spirit good-but nevertheless mask a more serious about. If poor Blob has made the trek to Earth, it is to seek help. On his planet Blobolonia, a vile Emperor sow terror and captured one by one the inhabitants to establish its domination. The boy and his blob must travel together to the famous planet and defeat the Emperor. Everything on Earth begins with the crash of Blob near the cabin boy. Alerted by the noise, he goes to the scene of the accident in the forest to meet for the first time a white creature, and all curves immediately he named Blob. A hug later and the two become best of friends, ready to do battle with the Emperor. But the road will be long until Blobolonia and the ugly fortress. It will take effect in the duo through 40 levels and treacherous monsters before ending the reign of the despot. Note that if the script borrows its frame in the first game of the series, this new title for the Wii is not the remake, or its sequel, actually. It's just a reboot of the franchise, or a replay if you prefer.

In A Boy and His Blob, the player controls the boy who can not accomplish much by itself. Running, jumping or pushing blocks, that roughly the range of motion allowed. Suffice to say that without Blob, the boy did not go very far. For his part, Blob is also quite inefficient if not requested by his new friend. Just to interact with the creature, the boy must use colorful candies. Each fragrance represents a specific function. By swallowing a pill, Blob automatically becomes the object of passion. Give him a sweet banana and it becomes an anvil. Throw a sweet licorice, and it turns into a ladder. The chewing gum is becoming the jumping balloon, the parachute acts as pear and tangerine as a trampoline. In all, a dozen different candies can be used to modify the appearance of Blob. The trick is to use properly treats available to us to progress in levels, eliminate enemies and reach the exit. Unlike the first sections, the number of candy is more limited and the associated function is indicated by drawing directly on the screen. No need to remember that each carries candy. Know more than the game we needed to automatically assign fragrances at current level. So you will not candy apple if the associated transformation is not useful in the section visited.
