Batman Arkham City

httFirst, exit Arkham Asylum! Now the story takes place in Arkham City, a section of the city of Gotham led by Hugo Strange, in which prisoners were placed on asylum and penitentiary Blackgate. They have organized their own laws and manage sites on an almost autonomous. The masked vigilante begins demo in these places and from the top of a building, keep the surroundings. Good news: the super-hero starts with almost all of its equipment and gadgets, which fall on the left of the screen and it can be selected using the joystick. However, it quickly becomes clear that some of them have been boosted. Thus, in addition to radio-controlled Batarang Batman already had in the previous section, one discovers a new version of the cryptographic sequencer. This form allows holograms to detect the source of a signal and intercept. In addition, a new grappling hook makes its appearance more dynamic than before, it can spin at high speed through the air and cling to any element of the decor very easily (be careful, however, Batman is not Spider-Man needs a true point of attachment for rocking).

By using blue ray vision that distinguishes including human figures and sources of heat, Batman is still able to scan and analyze the clues around. Indeed, early in the demoHe sees a man below assaulted by thugs. And among these, a fellow who radiates green, indicating that holds crucial information. Listening only to his sense of justice, superheroes leaps into the air while hovering using his cape beautifully deployed. Then suddenly, he gets in a position to torpedo and down the track towards the ground. The player discovers a new movement stunned spectacular judge. During the demoThere will be many others. For example, when building on the enemy from the air, Batman can now run two attacks to choose from: A Drop Attack (a mega kick to the head) but also doing a spin attack literally landed on the body of the enemy who then spread out full length. After getting rid of the rogue in combat faster than before and the sequences of moves which seem to be more affluent, Batman interrogates the villain and Jack Ryder talks he has just rescued. This person, who makes a cameo appearance in the previous chapter, is simply a journalist who runs a story about the criminal past of the Joker. It suggests the hero's presence near the villain Two-Face. Batman then queue to meet him, while the player discovers during a cutscene that Catwoman was suspended by the feet, is held captive by Two-Face. Once there, bat man begins by incapacitating off the minions of the latter which also boast an outfit similar to their leader (Arkham City gangs seem almost physically identify them leader). The player then discovers with delight new masked vigilante attacks ....
After taking care to eliminate the most dangerous opponents, armed with machetes or guns (that appear yellow on the scanner), Batman likes to be trouble severe thugs Two-Face. Sometimes he returns quickly their weapon against them (baseball bat, baton ...), sometimes they administered one of which he has taken unprecedented secrecy. As a "Beat Down" (hand-to-body, two keys are pressed simultaneously while tapping the second) that triggers an avalanche of blows on the enemy and knocked out a super uppercut. Or a Double Takedown (Batman arrives discreetly from behind and made bumping them two enemies to make them disappear). Or a Silent Takedown (by stealth, over the enemy, Batman can strangle a sudden the opponent with both legs). Surprise: Catwoman is eventually released by itself while scratching violently face of Two-Face. In the process, neutralized the Batman villain. Then follows a dialogue between seductive Catwoman, and our hero. Suddenly, a shot rang out and, in extremis, without the intervention of Batman, Catwoman joined his ancestors. Because the bullet fired through the window seemed to be destiny. But where can it come from? A question answered by putting the vigilante detective mode. The player must then make a focus on the hole in the window and hitting the ground, to find the trajectory of the ball and find its origin (by the way, the effect on screen is superb). Once identified it, Batman is about to get under way. But at the last moment he notices the silhouette of a man through the soil. This stranger is one of the many surprises of the adventure ...

Nicknamed Calendar Man ("Man-calendar"), this individual who is mysteriously in the basement of the building is notable for telling stories on holidays, but in real life! So if you play the game the day of Saint Patrick, Valentine, Christmas or New Year's Day, and you'll see the guy, it will not fail to tell a different story for each holiday! By adding the countless trophies Mystery Man who swarm through Arkham City or the probable secret places to explore or challenges to overcome, no doubt that the adventure should display a longer life than adequate. Especially since the universe of Arkham City is five times larger than the previous game, it's an open world that you can explore in any direction. Briefly, after visiting the Calendar Man, Batman goes back into the air to cling to a helicopter. This enables him to observe the city from above using his special sight. The masked vigilante discovers the agitation in a cathedral. This is Harley Quinn, pleased sexy as ever in his new outfit, accompanied by several armed henchmen who guard the hostages tied up. While our hero arrives, Harley slipped away while his henchmen, impressed by Batman, then began to talk while pointing with their guns. What applies to the player, at that precise moment, a long sequence delicious (if not pressed a button to cut it). For the villains want to agree on the act of drawing on it before it disappears. Batman then runs on the floor of smoke pellets, a new gadget that quickly creates a smoke screen, then clings to the ceiling and begins by eliminating one after another, each villain. The player makes the transition that there is no need for explosives to destroy a fragile wall, but the simple fists Batman now amply sufficient. Finally, after releasing the hostages, the lawman climbs to the top of the church to discover that the sniper rifle is actually controlled remotely. By scanning the weapon, he sees a message from the Joker which automatically trigger a count-down. Before exploding the scene, Batman has just enough time to dive out the window. This is both the last original movement vigilantism, but the last scene of this demo so exciting but too short. Needless to say we are on tenterhooks to find out more ...
