WWE All Stars test on XBOX 360

While most wrestling fans swear by the series of Smackdown vs. Raw, publisher THQ has decided to launch a parallel title that gives way to the show with an arcade-style gameplay. But the other big carrot WWE All Stars shakes under our noses is the opportunity to meet old stars in addition to current wrestlers for matches anthology. Are you ready to rumble?
It's been several years that wrestling has returned to the front of the stage, especially in the schoolyards. For many teens today, the icons are called Batista, Rey Mysterio and John Cena. But the oldest also remember the excitement had been masterful this spectator sport in the 80s, thanks to Hulk Hogan and his famous trances. It was at this time that wrestling has truly become a global entertainment that can attract tens of thousands of people around the ring. WWE All Stars we therefore propose to mix these two eras to create unexpected match-up that we will indeed never (or briefly) had the opportunity to see in reality.
First, as mentioned in the intro, WWE All Stars is a title which clearly tends toward the arch. Expect to exaggerated movements in the extreme and stratospheric finishers, five feet above the ring! Moreover, speaking of hype, the wrestlers are depicted as a caricature, while respecting the original model for a truly successful outcome. Already the stars of WWE are built like baobabs, the title of THQ offers us squarely tanks on legs, although the proportions are kept (Rey Mysterio against Andre the Giant, it's worth the detour). For the combat system, we can clearly classify by style protagonists. For example, Andre the Giant and The Big Show share a large part of their range of movement. Even if no character is the perfect clone of another, you may still regret the lack of diversity that results. Note however that this fault is quite negligible since you still have plenty to do.
Where really shines All Stars of WWE Smackdown vs. Raw is in gameplay. Indeed, here we are in a way that blends both classic fighting game and wrestling. So, we discovered a small system combos in which the shots were shackled with weak and strong decision. All fighters do not employ the same combination and it will make several attempts before you find your happiness. The important thing to consider is that it is possible to link the enemies in the air like a Tekken. For example, you can make a combo four strokes, the last bounces your opponent into the ring and then follow up directly by taking mid-height. Sure, it changes the Smackdown vs Raw! But rest assured that the players do not believe that there is no way out of a combination. Indeed, it is possible at any time to counter a series of blows, or even a plug, pressing the triggers in a precise timing. While in some cases you just push the opponent, in others, you make an outright attack-cons! While this may seem devastating, still know that the advantage is always left to the attack: if your country is taking, you can even "counter cons" to finally achieve your move permanently. Of course, given the tight timing, do not count on it eitherAlthough the gameplay has its advantages in helping greatly enjoyable side of the fighting, he must still make some small details that do not necessarily delight the crowds. If we already talked about the existing pattern in the shots of different characters, the range of motion overall is still below what one might hope. For example, interactions with the ropes and corners of the ring are far from being fairly numerous. After a few games, some redundancy in the gameplay eventually be felt. Another small problem, if the animations are good, we can note some problems of collisions, which cause the catch, however well placed to fail. This is especially recurrent in matches with four players. Ditto for the management of a wrestler who is recovering. If a player's attack before it was fully erect, the two characters make an animation back rather awkward. It becomes a bit problematic when it happens several times per game, again, especially to many. For cons, the cons a small one has its flaws characters as a camera may be too close to the fighters and an angle that precludes seeing in depth. Finally, theIA adversaries is largely improved. It is easily possible to chain to infinity or some shots taken with some good timing. Having the advantage given to the attack, a player who really control the "cons-cons" can make a carnage no matter how difficult. Admittedly, it requires great concentration, but even without that, an average player can still easily win his matches using a single attack.
